The Powascooter 4000e was the first electric scooter to feature the Direct Drive system. The result is a effortless ride guaranteed to remove the stress from any commuter journey or patrol duty.

The 4000e has a dual-drive mode which gives you more power for climbing hills or pulling away at the lights. It also has hydraulic disk brakes and an energy indicator and battery protection system which activates an intermittent buzzer when the battery power is running low. The innovation earned the 4000e Champion status in the Electric Scooter category of the 2000 German Solar Vehicle Awards.

Powered by two high-efficiency Direct Drive hub motors, the Trike breezes along at a top speed of 28mph. Ride in Economy or, where an extra burst of acceleration is required, Power mode. An electronic rear differential makes cornering smooth while a speed limiter ensures all three wheels stay on the road. There’s also a reverse gear to help you when parking.
