THE ULTIMATE POWABYKE
The new 24-speed Commuter Powabyke is the ultimate electric bike for touring and commuting. Independent tests have shown this model is capable of 34 miles range in Power Assist mode.
Incorporating full 24-speed Shimano gears and available in two scratch-resistant metallic paint finishes, the 24-speed Commuter will appeal to the customer who appreciates performance and unrivalled value.
THREE-DOM TO ROAM
Following the successful introduction of the electric Powatryke in 2005, we are delighted to introduce the new 5 Speed Powatryke Cruiser. With Shimano hub grears and 20- and 24-inch wheel models, both are available in either blue, silver or limited edition black. W ith the new even lower step-through feature, Powatrykes now come with battery-operated lights and with Compass bells.
The uses for the Powatryke are many and varied: Courier companies are using them in big cities; village shop owners are using them for home deliveries; and hundreds of our customers tell us they love to go shopping or on picnics using their Powatryke.
The characterful three-wheeler has also proved to be an ideal mobility vehicle, providing many elderly and physically challenged customers with a new mode of safe and efficient transport.
COMFORT CITYWith five-speed rear derailleur gears and a 200 watt brushless motor, this 20-inch wheeled beauty is sure to be popular with riders who appreciate added comfort. The City Bike has front and rear suspension with front and rear lights built in.
It has a low step-through for ease when mounting and dismounting, and its long cushioned motor bike-style seat will set you up for the most comfortable ride of your life!
The all-new 6-speed Euro bike has been developed from our best-selling 5-speed version. It is available in Classic or Mountain style and there are two wheel size options: 24- and 26-inch. The latter comes with a choice of four metallic paint finishes.
Every model is fitted with Powabyke's unique electronic controller, which allows the rider to switch between Pure Power and Pedal Assist mode.
Alloy Frames
Combined with new lightweight alloy frames, the total weight of a Powabyke with a lithium battery will fall to around 28kg. All of our Euro models now come with alloy frames. This means that they weigh 4kg less than the old steel frames.
SHOPPER WITH SIX APPEAL PLUS
The 6-speed Shopper is a new addition in the budget sector of the Powabyke range. The bike has a very low step-through design and a choice of either 24- or the Plus model 26-inch wheels. The six gears are plenty enough for the casual rider.
For rider comfort the Shopper has a sprung seat post and a handy front-mounted basket. The bike has a range of around 20 miles and will appeal to the person looking for a simple, efficient and low-cost machine for shorter journeys or local errands.
